I hav GTA Vice City version, running successfully on Windows 98 but not on XP. I also changed the Compatabilty Mode to Win 98 but Not Working. I cannot continue with Windows 98 due to some Professional Needs..So I want to run this Game On XPI read the Complete Trouble Shooting Thread but didnt get the solution except change ur Compatibilty Windows Vista = C:\Users\"Your account"\Documents\GTA Vice City User Files. Windows 98/Me = C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\GTA Vice City User Files I've also checked the rockstar\vc\data\ location, which I've read sometimes occurs on Vista, but to no avail. The only semblance of the User Files folder I've so far found is the gta_vc.set file The black screen might be caused by an outdated graphic driver or by a corrupted graphic driver file. If that’s the case, then you can fix this problem by updating your drivers. Its usually a good place to start. Maybe post some system specs and current graphics driver version.
