LED displays have better color accuracy, contrast, and overall brightness than LCDs. They are also energy-efficient. The main difference between the two display types is the use of backlighting. While this may seem like a small detail, it can have a major impact on overall picture quality and energy consumption.
There is no comparison between HDMI and LED. That is like comparing apples to a dog. HDMI is a connector. LED is a light emitting diode. HDMI does not emit light, and LEDs do not connect. LCD (liquid crystal display) is a type of monitor, typically compared to CRT monitors (the old type with a picture "tube").
The entire screen is covered with LED bulbs. Several stips containing LEDs are placed in rows to cover the entire screen. In the early days, when LED technology was new and the old LCD technology using CCFL backlighting were vanishing. Direct-lit LED does not use Local Dimming which enhances the contrast ratio eventually increasing the picture
Image Quality: IPS monitors generally have better image quality, with more accurate colors and better viewing angles. LED monitors, on the other hand, are often brighter and have better contrast. Response Times: LED monitors typically have faster response times than IPS monitors, making them better for gaming and other fast-paced activities.
AMOLED: Often have less than 1ms response times along with either 60Hz, 120Hz, or 240Hz refresh rates. Mini LED: Typically, Mini LEDs offer 1ms - 4ms response times and up to 240Hz refresh rates

LED monitors are brighter, but they save energy more than IPS. This is the reason why people prefer using LED rather than LCD. 3. Response time. IPS need more time to respond (about 10ms) LED has a shorter response time (down to 1ms) This factor makes a huge difference between the two monitors.
In an AMOLED display, both the backlight and the screen itself are LED. While the LCD has a longer lifespan, the AMOLED display will consume less battery power because it won’t need to use
All monitors are LCD. Liquid Crystal Display. LED refers to the backlight, which as far as I’m aware, all current monitors now use this over cfl tubes. So the reviewers are wrong. They are making a distinction between LCD monitors that are backlit by LEDs (virtually all monitors these days) and those that are backlit by CCFL.
