I purchased the new iPhone 8 Plus 256gb Gold and noticed that even with Auto-Brightness, Night Mode, True Tone and other relevant display settings turned off, that the screen was auto dimming whilst actively using the phone in different environments and light. I tried changing my auto lock setting to see if this helped but it did not. 1. Connect your iPhone to your PC > click on Summary >Click on “Restore iPhone as shown in the screenshot below to resolve to push notifications iPhone not working. 2. iTunes will pop up a confirmation message. Finally hit “Restore” and wait for the process to get over. 3. Trace each of the LED + (positive and LED – (negative connection line paths down to the resistors where it is being connected. 3. She found that for her under Accessibility, Display & Test Size, Smart Invert was turned on for some reason. Turned it off. Problem Solved.
